Saurday 13th January - walk *** – Levington circuit – sunny periods.

The day started cloudy so had the usual relaxing start to the day doing word games, am on a decent run on Wordle at the moment, I am sue to come upstuck soon! Then the sun made an appearance and with light winds it was a nice day so after my exercises, got to keep that backing moving I packed a picnic and as I wanted some epoxy primmer to repair my windsurfing foil from Seamark Nunn at Trimely we drove over to park near Levington church for lunch. The bench with view over the River Orwell was taken so we decided to do our walk first, the weather was lovely at this point, sunny with the river looking moody. Down to the new repaired wooden walkwat through the reed bed, there were no deer in the field at this point but a few made an appearance while we chatted to some people we know also out for a picnic by the river:) The field was ful of lapwings as we continued onto the Orwell with the tide high but sadly the sun had disappeared behind the clouds. The tide was high and there were several gulls, waders and ducks to watch as we walked back along Levington Creek and up to the bench for lunch, no hot drink today as I forgot to take any milk, what a plonker! So home, no primmer today as Seamark closes at 1 but still a nice day:)
